9:00 – 3:00 daily

Summer day camp if for kids ages 6-15 who love horses!  Our camp is designed for beginner to more advanced riders alike. Each day the students will learn and practice horse care, riding and have a horse themed craft time.  This is a great way for new students to be introduced to riding.  More advanced students will benefit from the concentrated weeklong format to practice and improve their skills.  The students will be in small groups of 3-5 participants and will be supervised during all activities.  Safety is our number one concern and the students will be taught safe techniques for handling the horses along with safety procedures in the barn.  All riders are required to wear certified helmets when mounted.  We ask that all students wear hard-soled shoes with a heel (no chunky soled shoes please!), lace up is preferred.  If it is hot weather the students can wear shorts but need to bring long pants to ride in.  No student will be allowed to ride in shorts or capri’s.  Students need to bring a sack lunch each day; coolers will be provided to store lunches in.  There is a coke machine and water will be available for all students.  Let us know in advance of any special needs.
